After this the stuttering issue seems to be solved, even with the HDMI outputs enabled. Stuttering/buzzing Sound During Audio/video Playback I went into Device Manager and disabled and uninstalled the Realtek Family Ethernet Controller as I'm not wired and also did the same with my WiFi adapter.
Go into your bios and disable every port not in use, like serial and/or parallel. Audio Skipping Windows 7 Reply Boan / October 11, 2012 For those that have crackling sound after upgradeing to Win7, if you have Realtek drivers, I suggest downloading this older driver: http://www.mediafire.com/?kib0upou786751a Uninstall the driver no luck... check over here Reply Kasper / March 7, 2014 Thx you saved my day (: Reply Steve Hefter / March 9, 2014 THANK YOU!
In fact, better yet, disable the Realtek startup processes (audio manager and background processes) altogether. THANKS!! It comes back later. This is most likley due to it having to Correct the volume all the time Shutting this off should fix the Issue Hope i helped Reply Marcos Codas / March 26, Now it works like a charm!
The issue appears to be that on giga boards and I suspect on others there is intelligent throttling for the CPU. I've never experienced any problems with my sound on my computer. I happened to find this guide http://blogs.technet.com/b/mediaq/archive/2015/07/30/windows_2d00_10_2d00_audio_2d00_troubleshooting_2d00_tips.aspx and disabling audio enhancements fixed it for me. If anybody has the same issue I recommend making sure your iTunes sampling rate is at the same rate as the playback device settings.
Thanks! my audio is now flawless again! good luck! This was my big breakthrough.
Hope this helps anyone in the future looking through this post. The fix was instant.
