I read your article - pushed the monitor cable an inch or so in each direction and WOW all the streaking ghosts are gone!!!!! As far as I can tell (apologies to previous posters if I'm mistaken) everybody has given solutions involving changing the entire theme, which isn't actually what the OP asked for. Reply Bill S.
Thanks again to everyone who replied. Could not for the life of me figure out the cause. I adjusted the settings, new vid driver, more settings.. The ghost images always ran to the right side of the screen and would come and go (I occasionally move my monitor around).
