Today I tried to plug it into my work PC to get some files off it (Windows 8), and it wasn't recognized. I tried disk mgmnt and dev mgmnt but, it is not visible there. I found that when I went to Disk Management, the external drive was offline because of something to do with the signature. Just open disk management to view external hard drive.
