AMD's Catalyst software has an option for Theater Mode. Some programs and games will let you choose which audio output device to use but most will only use the default device that's active when they start. reopen the playback window for the system sounds icon as per steps 6-8, RIGHT click against the original device and select "set as default device". i use it few days now, it works flawless Has anyone used this? windows 7's control pannel is not computer friendly, and I forgot how I set up the sound per action. Somewhere along the line the sound output was changed (by my son) from being played through the second display (TV) to only play through the main AIO computer speakers system.

I'd like to be able to watch a streaming video or use internet radio through HDMI, while someone sitting at the computer can listen to their apps through the line-out speakers. I cannot record from a midi device while keeping a DAW application open.
