I thought that upgrading to win 7 would solve the problem but its caused more than i expected.... By the way I tried creating a new profile and the minute I add an extension, especially this mail checking, X-notifier to Chrome, it freezes the machine. At this moment, Excel is using 15 MB of PWS mem on my home computer, with a lil' 250-KB file open.
